Chapter Five complies with all international standards regarding the code of business

 

Fundamental principles:

 

-       Business is conducted lawfully

-       Work is conducted based on freely agreed and documented terms of employment

-       All employees are treated equally and with respect

-       All employees are of appropriate age

-       All employees are paid fair salaries

-       Working hours for all are reasonable

-       Health and safety of all employees are protected during work

-       All employees have access to fair procedures

-       Business is conducted in a sustainable way

 

  • Business is conducted lawfully:

i)              We comply with country and international laws

ii)             We prohibit all forms of bribery, corruption or embezzlement and we have procedures to prevent all these

iii)           All conflicts of interest are declared to our clients

iv)           We do not offer gifts to our clients with the aim to influence current or future award of business

v)            We keep our clients’ information confidential. All information regarding competitors is obtained legitimately

vi)           We do not permit participation in money laundering.

vii)         All business dealings are performed transparently.

viii)        All intellectual property of our clients is safeguarded and protected by laws and regulations

ix)           All employees have access to these rules and can raise concerns without any retaliation measures by Chapter Five

  • Work is conducted based on freely agreed and documented terms of employment

i)              We provide all employees with all lawful and necessary employment documents

 

 

  • All employees are treated equally and with respect

i)              No employee is subject to physical, sexual, psychological or verbal harassment or abuse.

ii)             There is no discrimination regarding race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, disability, social class, political views

 

 

  • All employees are of appropriate age

i)              We do not employ individuals under the age of 18 as it is defined by the Greek law

 

  • All employees are paid fair salaries

i)              The compensation package that all employees receive includes social insurance, paid leave and all benefits defined by Greek laws. The package meets or exceeds the legal minimum standard

 

 

  • Working hours for all are reasonable

i)              All employees work on reasonable hours and not more than regular hours allowed by the Greek law. All overtime work is on a voluntary basis and forced labor is not used under any circumstances

 

 

  • Health and safety of all employees are protected during work

i)              We provide a healthy and safe working environment for all employees to prevent from accidents or injuries. Especially in our warehouse premised all safe standards are applied

 

 

  • All employees have access to fair procedures

i)              We provide fair and transparent procedures to all employees

 

  • Business is conducted in a sustainable way

i)              All our actions are conducted with the aim of not harming the environment
